A very special Tuesday awaited the 1,300 pupils of the "GYB": they were invited to discover the world of careers in science and technology. With the 12-13 TecDays, which are organised annually throughout Switzerland, the organiser SATW aims to appeal to young people who are interested in STEM subjects as well as those who are "less scientific". The aim is to make the next generation aware of the importance of science in solving current challenges.
SATW also offers the Swiss TecLadies mentoring programme for girls aged between 14 and 19. There, they are accompanied by an individual mentor and benefit from an intensive coaching programme that helps them to find their calling.
