The event centred on the topic of "Urban Mining in the Context of the Circular Economy", which was explored in depth through exciting presentations and stimulating discussions. Many of the member organisations present contributed their experience and shared their commitment with the participants.

The member companies Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS ) with Andri Bodmer and VaLoo, the network for recyclable sanitary systems in Switzerland with Kai Udert, presented concrete practical examples. Andri Bodmer explained their assessment model for sustainable corporate development and highlighted successful business models. Kai Udert presented the innovative endeavours for recyclable sanitary systems as a concrete example. In her keynote speech, Marloes Fischer from the Circular Hub provided an exciting overview of the potential and challenges of the circular economy.

Another highlight was the review of the 2023/24 annual theme "Security of supply" by Benoît Dubuis, President of SATW. He showed how the topic was explored in depth at SATW and emphasised that the topic remains topical and that SATW will continue its commitment. He also drew attention to the Annual Congress 2025 entitled "Pharmaceutical Revolution: Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Technologies as Drivers of Innovation", which will take place in Muttenz on 27 May 2025. René Hüsler, member of the SATW Executive Board and responsible for the SATW member societies, hosted the afternoon in a confident and friendly manner.

The event ended in a relaxed atmosphere with an aperitif, where attendees took the opportunity for in-depth dialogue and networking.

The SATW would like to thank all participants for their valuable contributions and for sharing their insights. We look forward to continuing the lively discussions and collaborations at future events.
